Any suggestions or ideas to help keep a 3 year old entertained in Mexico for a week? Have any of you mom's ever used the childcare services the resorts offer through out the day for a few hours? I am nervous about using anything like that so any experiences positive and negative would be greatly appreciated :)

I would say pools and beach will help keep your child entertained. I am not sure about the childcare services.. Personally i would be skepticle on the child care... but i am sure you will find lots to do.. Enjoy

Will you be staying in a resort? They usually have child care plans with staff from the US or Canada. As language could be an issue, you may want to make sure that any one to whom you trust your children has a good command of English, both for communicating, but also understanding your little ones.

Ive brought my child to mexico at the age of 6 months, then again at 20 months, and this year he will be 2 1/2 years old and were going to the Dominican. Depends where in Mexico you go to there is some nice zoo's or amazon forests type of places. My son really liked playing in the pools. He didn't like the beach as the waves scared him. Most children daycare services is for children the ages of 4-12. My son is still too young too be left with them by himself. But he did enjoy playing with other kids
