My husband & I would love to go to Paris & the surrounding area. We haven't had a honeymoon as we are saving. I am looking for advise on places to see, accommodations, food, shopping, people.
We love to shop, we love fashion, wine, culture. I would like it if others could post link, pic etc
Please help, thanks

I have a few Paris pinterest boards that might help you. Also a variety of bloggers that live there and often post just the info you're requesting - google search Paris blogs or bloggers..
and EnJoy the journey - dreaming and planning :)

I too have a Paris board at Pinterest. I've found so many useful pins and you would too.
You might want to check out Fodors website. They are renowned for their travel guides.
Enjoy planning your dream vacation! It will be a honeymoon to remember.

You must try Paris's croque monsieur they are the best! They are like grilled sam and cheese sandwich. Le Louvre De Paris, L'arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame De Paris are among some of the must visit places you need to go to. I guarantee you'll love your trip there ;). Here's a link about the most popular attractions in Paris: http://www.aviewoncities.com/paris/parisattractions.htm

Wine is so good and so cheap there! You can get a bottle of quite nice wine for well under 5 euros in grocery stores, often it's the same stuff that goes for $30 in North America. And French cheese....yum!!!
When looking for a place to stay look for hotels that are walking distance from the subway system, the transit passes are not crazy expensive and if you want to see lots they are well worth it.

This city can be done wonderfully on any budget. Stay in the Marais for quirky and cute hotels at a great price, it has beautiful medieval architecture as well. For food, you will have no problem finding great items at a low price, try Paul Bakery or any of the eateries in the Latin quarter. I have been to this city 4 times and it is never enough.

I have been to Paris 3 times, and I have lived in France. Paris although a must visit isn't for everyone you will either love it or hate it (personal opinion). Although the city is really expensive with smart planning, it can be done on any budget. If you have time I recommend visiting more than just Paris, because France is so beautiful and has so much more to offer then one city.

I recommend a visit to Le Quartier Latin, L'arc du Triomphe, Notre Dame. Le fauchon and Les galleries Lafayette are a must for shopping!

Thanks Ladies for all your advise & tips. It's very helpful and good to know about everyone's real life travel stories, then from a travel agent. (no offence to travel agents ladies) something you just need to hear it from people who are not trying to sell you a travel destination b/c its their job. You all have been informative and very helpful!
Thanks so very much!
