From my experience as a flight attendant, it will get easier! It's all about packing the essential baby bag for the flight. Especially snacks and entertainment (toys). Usually the inflight meals for babies are just baby jars. Some mums I see on the flights travel ALONE with 2 young kids or more!

I've only flown once alone with my 7 month old, but it was quite the experience! My flights (connecting) were both delayed and we ended up travelling from 6am to midnight. It was pretty hard, but when we've travelled with my hubby as well, it made life easier for sure.

i have recently traveled with a 7 month old. it was a good experience. the service at the airport was great at pearson international and my destination. i flew with air canada and was seating right behind first class. i was able to check my luggage and a suitcase for my daughter and her pack and play as well as a carry on and my diaper bag. i had toys a flask with hot water and formula (powder and liquid) in my diaper bag and i got into the plane with ease. they even had me in the priority line so we got through faster. my daughter was great slept through take off and landing ppl was not even aware that there was an infant on board
