I've recently returned from a trip out West to see my parents. I normally fly WestJet, but now have an in-law who works for Air Canada and so I have discounted ticket prices! My first flight was delayed by an hour, then switched after 45 minutes of waiting on-board due to electrical malfunctions! Our next plane was in three hours. On board, they didn't serve any snacks, only water, pop, or coffee, and our flight attendants were rude. Ugh! Anyway, I think I will keep to West Jet from now on.
Who do you fly with? :-)

I only fly west jet because I like the connections and know the flights. I fly alone so it's more convenient. Last time it was a new terminal in Toronto but will be easier next time.

I always fly home to Scotland and the cheapest best is usually KLM. If you ever go to Europe I'd recommend them!

I've always had stellar experiences on both.

West Jet has been my top choice for years, when I'm flying anywhere they fly. They provide amazing customer service. My next is Porter. I flew with them last year for the first time and loved it. Living down town Toronto it is so convenient.

I agree with KLM. The best I've tried so far for international flights at least.

We are flying with KLM to Amsterdam and South Africa.
This is my first time using this company. I hope it's a

I fly Westjet whenever possible, even if I pay a little more for the ticket. I've had to switch flights a few times over the past few years due to weather and delays, and never had an issue with Westjet. When using Air Canada or Porter, its been a negative experience.

Air Canada always seems to be delayed! But I had one positive experience with them. I was trying to fly to Vancouver, but they overbooked the flight by 40 people (how is that even possible??). There was a room full of people who were at the customer service line, and listening in on some conversations, the customer service wasn't going so well. So me and my boyfriend were primed to have an awful experience. But it was far better than we expected. They apologized for the inconvenience, asked us if we would mind flying out the next morning, arranged our tickets, gave us $800 for the inconvenience (which was MORE than what we paid for the roundtrip flight) and even wanted to set us up in a nearby hotel. We refused because we lived there, but it was a pretty good experience, despite having to fly in a day late.

I've really enjoyed flying Porter and will continue to fly with them when I can!
