Anyone else hear about this? Whatever the reasons are, if its legit or just a publicity stunt, I think its pretty funny.
I've seen a total of about 17 minutes of Jersey Shore... tried watching one episode with a friend and I just couldnt bring myself to finish it. The threat in my apartment is that the next time someone comes over to try and watch it, we're cutting off the cable LOL
That being said, I think its hilarious that abercrombie & fitch is trying to pay off the jersey shore cast so they wont wear A&F;clothing. Read one of the articles here - there's a bunch of them out there.
btw... I never really understood... is it a reality show? scripted tv series? I never really understood that show. :-P

I'm a closet (not really...) Jersey Shore fan, since I love trash tv shows!
I laughed hard when I read the news too! But when you think about it, it makes sense that A&F;wouldn't want the cast of Jersey Shore wearing their clothes. It sends a different kind of message, don't you think?

Yes I heard about this and it's true. They're paying off Mike "The situation" and also said that the offer is on the table for everyone else.
Jersey shore is a reality TV show where 8 people from New Jersey goes and party. This season, they are in Italy partying. It's filled with drama and like a lot of people say, it's really trashy.
I'm also a fan of the show because it is a form of cheap entertainment :)

Tammyk, jskim07 I agree with you both....this is a LOL moment :)
(I have never watched the show.....is it good!? It looks silly!)
|I thought this was a spin off of The Hills or something! on Aug 22, 2011 @ 03:13 pm|
I am sorry (and no offense to Jersey Shore fans) but that has to be the dumbest plot for a show I've ever heard! I've never watched it and now that I know what the show is actually about I'm even less inclined to watch! And I can't blaim A&F;for not wanting to be associated with this show lol I think it's pretty funny they'd even go as far as to PAY these people to not wear their clothes. Can anyone say desperation?
|thought it was a series for the longest time... on Sep 09, 2011 @ 12:40 am|
I never understood the point of this show... (to be honest I still kinda dont lol)
But it made more sense in my head when I thought it was just some lame tv series about these people... when I discovered it was a reality series I could hardly believe it. :-P
a friend of ours has a habit of changing the channel to this show when she's over and its on. It got to the point where Jesse was joking about canceling the cable the next time someone tried to watch it on our tv lol.... I think he was joking anyways....
