Charlie on Two and a half men. I stopped watching after a few shows when they replaced Charlie Sheen with Ashton Kutcher. It wasn't the same.

That's so funny, I'm out of town and had nothing to watch and just finish watching an
Episode of Fresh Prince!
I used to love that show and I agree with you, I like the old aunt Viv a lot better. :)
This is for movies, I like it when Christian Bale played Batman. I stopped watching
When Ben Affleck became Batman.
I also, like Ed Norton as incribke Hulk. As you can see I like my superheroes.:)

Indeed agreed with 2in half men! The character of Charlie fits
Charlie Sheen perfectly, it's not the same with Ashton Kutcher.

It bothers me when they change the actors in the soap operas I watch, especially for the ones that have been playing the character for so long. They do have the advantage of using the "I got kidnapped and they made me go through extensive plastic surgery" storyline to make the transition more credible LOL!

Lol@prettyrainbow! I haven't watched soaps since I was in my late teens but you are so right! Soaps have it the easiest in changing characters - just pick a plight no matter how unbelievable and go with it. lol.
I have to say, when I did watch soaps it was generally only All My Children. I loved it for a long time.

Aunt Viv was the worst change in character.

I remember on Roseanne when they changed Becky... I prefer the first one better, but liked Sarah Chalke too. Don't know if anyone gets this other reference, but I watch reruns of Keeping up Appearances and so love the second version of Rose b/c of the way she speaks.

When you really like the actor or actress playing a role it's a huge disappointment when they fire that person for whatever reason. Each actor plays a role differently, so it's never the same.
