Is anyone else mad a mindy project this season?! For one, I don't like how they handled the breast feeding...everyone on the subway was against it instead of standing up for a mom and baby's rights. Then at the office she made a big deal about it, had no support feom anyone and got over it. I do like some parts of that character, Dr (I forget his name with a bad accent) he definitely has some redeeming qualities along with really bad ones. ..I just think that e topic should have been handled with a more favorable result. It came off to me as though the writers etc are against best feeding in public. Also, Danny is really upsetting me.... He and mindy are now in an abusive relationship. He wants mindy to quit working to stay home a d raise their son and is bribing her with marriage and another child. Oh you're gonna stay home "let's get married" ... you wanna work? "Let's hold off on the wedding" soo gross. He tells her what to do 100% of the time, and now tells her she can do her fertility clinic as a hobby! Lmao. She is a better doctor than him, by far. I hope she keeps her place and moves there.

I know right! I was a little irritated with Danny in this season as well. I also agree with the breastfeeding. Although all of these things were terrible, Mindy has a great sense of humour and brought it all together in a way that I wasn't expecting. I love Mindy and Danny together. I hope they can make Danny less of a douche in the new season lol

Danny has always made me mad! He usually wrongs her and then does something that he knows will just sucker her back in, she's such a romantic that he always wins her back.

I was glad to see that she finally ended things with him! Again as usual he made me annoyed when he convinced her (and used their son) to come over after she moved out and they started sleeping together, but thankfully by the end of the episode she came to the realization of what was happening and stood her ground. Now hopefully she can continue to stay strong going forward!

I totally agree with all of you. I loved the first three seasons of the show but season four is so different. I feel like this season has been kind of a downer instead of the happy show I liked. I guess that is partly from it now being produced by hulu.

I do like Dr. Jody Kimball-Kinne. While the character sometimes drives me crazy I love Garret Dillahunt and think he is an amazing actor.

I can't stand Danny - Mindy is far too independent and fabulous for him! It irritates me that when she is around him, she seems to forget her independence. I would love to see her end up with Morgan!!

Really enjoy the show but... on Apr 20, 2016 @ 03:59 pm

The Mindy Project used to be one of my favourite shows for several reasons:
1) Super entertaining
2) Short episodes
3) Really funny
I feel like the show has changed in this 4th season... It's way too unrealistic and parody-y, like some of the things that people say or do are just TOO outrageous whereas in previous seasons, characters were very eccentric but not too the point where you're like: "what??? who the hell says/does that?". And when the breastfeeding part happened, i was like OOH this is a current issue in our society, I'm so glad they're addressing it. But instead, it was handled in completely the wrong way.
I feel that the episodes and each storyline is written much more poorly now. I'm really disappointed. Ive really begun to dislike danny in the recent episodes, and I'm not enjoying the show as much anymore
