Ali de Bold, Co-Founder

Ali is a third-generation entrepreneur with a passion for media as a tool for change since her appearance on Global TV's Kids News at the age of 12. In 2004 she took steps to realize her dreams by taking an internship with CBC's "Fashion File" and going back to school full-time. In 2008, she graduated with an honors degree in Radio & Television Arts from Ryerson University, where she has also been a guest speaker to business students.

She is the creator and host of two original video series, Where’d You Get That? and ChickChat TV, both of which are sponsored by major Canadian media corporations.

Ali enjoys traveling, shopping, exercise and helping the local homeless by organizing used clothing drives.

Alex de Bold, Co-Founder

Alex is a serial entrepreneur who, like Ali, launched his first company, ProfessorJones while in his 3rd year of University in 1996. ProfessorJones was Canada's most successful online student portal.

Alex continued working the online space doing integrated marketing and CRM for leading North American companies such as Labatt Breweries North America, Centrica, and Butterfield & Robinson.

He is an expert in online marketing and strategy and has served as an advisor and consultant for a number of successful Internet startups including RedFlagDeals.com and Bubbleshare.com. He is also a frequent speaker and panelist and served on the board of directors for the Toronto Boys and Girls Clubs for several years.

Though Alex is not a Chick, since launching ChickAdvisor he feels like he understands them as much as any guy could.

Ahmad Nassri, Developer

Ahmad is the genius behind the technology and all of the applications on ChickAdvisor, helping to transform ChickAdvisor from a 50 page conceptual document to a robust and complex functioning platform.

Ahmad and his ever present partner-in-crime, his Blackberry, keep us up to date with all the latest and greatest in leading edge technology ensuring that ChickAdvisor remains the revolutionary website that it is.

Claire Rahn, Editor

Claire is a work-at-home mom who takes her no-nonsense housekeeping style to the pages of ChickAdvisor. She spends her time tidying up stray reviews, hunting down bargains, and meddling (er, socializing) in the forums. While she can't find the cash in the diaper budget for designer duds, she's a sucker for pedicures and pomegranate martinis with friends.

She holds a Bachelor degree in Environmental Science and is a member of Mensa. She volunteers with a local Girl Scout troop and is proud to be the loudest mom on the soccer field.
