Very introspective read. Quite an intensive look at the relationships you form throughout life, and a very deep look into the end of life and death. Touches briefly and yet very profoundly on "comfort women" used by the Japanese army- a very controversial topic. You come to love the main character and them slowly discover his flaws. Very somber but interesting novel.
