Everyone has different ideas and views about this subject. Some recommend less than a year, some think not at all.Doctors generally leave it up to the parent. I feel there is no limit to be set. As long as mommy and baby benefit any time is the time. Remember, one should not be judged)and some are) as to how long or how short a time this is done.I feel any time a baby is nursed is beneficial to him/her.I also would like to add if a mommy has tried and can't she should not be belittled etc. (It does happen)
