I ordered some Alberto VO5 Daily Conditioning Treatment the other day because I had read that it worked well. The well. ca web site tells you to use a dime size amount and only put it on your hair where it’s needed to smooth away flyaways and to control split ends. Well it also says on the package if you want a deep conditioning you can rub some on your wet hair, wait then shampoo it out. I was in need of a deep conditioning so I wet my hair, placed it on and them shampooed it out. Then had to shampoo it again and then again trying to get the stuff out of my hair. I thought I had gotten it all out, but when I woke up the next day my hair looked like it hadn’t bin washed in month. It was nothing but a big grease ball. So I stuck my head under the tap and washed it two more times hoping that would be enough. Well it was a lot cleaner feeling and looking, but it still wasn’t all the way out. It was clean enough to go out in public, but it still wasn’t squeaky clean like I like my hair to look and feel. Now I can’t say how Alberto VO5 daily Conditioner work’s on dry hair as a treatment for flyaway’s and split ends because I was afraid to try it again so soon after the last mess I had made. Plus my hair doesn't even look, or feel soft and shinny like it should. So it might be alright if you were to use it on dry hair. How ever if you were thinking about trying it the way I did and how it tells you it can be used, I’d tell you not to bother trying it this way. This daily conditioner made work differently on different types of hair, but I sure won’t be trying it again. It will go into my give away bag so someone else can try it if they like it.
