Construction: The mirror is HEAVY! I mean like really really heavy --yet it's still easy to hold in the hand-- and it's about the size of one's entire palm --about four inches in length. The artsy avocado shaped gold compact is really shiny and reflective with a fabulous long black tassel attached to it. The entire overall design is reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour. There are symbolic etchings alongside the compact's edge and a rather large Swarvovski crystal --the jumbo crystal and the gold plating alone is worth the compact's price-- I've seen small Swarvovski crystal pendants that cost more. It opens to reveal two different mirrors --one is normal and the other side features double magnification. The quality of both are crystal clear and easy to look at. The final touches are a velvety carrying pouch --to keep your mirror safe while traveling-- and a free $25 off gift card to use at any Alexis Bittar store or the website. While I was lucky to purchase this at a discount, it's absolutely worth it at full price! A little delectable piece of decadent luxury a girl can actually afford.
