I used this mascara after using another brand for a long time. It was refreshing; my lashes didn't clump up and looked really great. Also, the color was really black.

No clumps and you can control how much or how little you want to put on! I've never made it past 2.5 on the dial and that's for a night out. I love that when I just want a little, I can dial it down between 0.5 to 1.0 and just have a hint of mascara on. There are days when you don't want to look like you are actually wearing anything and this is perfect for that. It's my new favorite. And I go through mascara! This one has not dried out and the brush has thick parts and thinner parts that are great for your lower lashes. I have never had any luck with Almay products so I was shocked that I love it as much as I do!

It is amazing at making my lashes fuller and longer. The dial up helps with the amount of mascara that goes on in one coat - no lumps or clumping. Its my favourite!

I had previously used the Almay One Coat Mascara, but found that I was using more than one coat when I wanted a more dramatic look, so I thought that the Dial up version could only be better! I really like that I have the option of 3 different versions of the product by simply turning the dial, however, I am noticing that when I use the 3 option (which is supposed to be the most dramatic) there is alot of product on the brush and it tends to clump on the edges of my lashes. When used on the lowest setting this product works exceptionally well and gives me a wonderfully natural look. The part I like the most is that my lashes don't end up feeling like I have coated them in glue and allowed it to harden.
All in all, I would recommend the Almay One Coat product but would skip the dial up next time!

I love this mascara because it can choose how much product comes out on the wand. I also love the wand it is a rubber one and works well for me. I was very surprised to find this at my dollar tree.

I was in the dollar store and wanted to test the quality of some makeup. i saw the name almay and i knew that was a famous brand. so i was wondering if it was a real almay. it works wonderfully. you pick your thinkness, swipe it on and boom! its great. i love the brush with a billion little bristles covers every little lash. i highly reccomend this!

This product allows you to click the base to add more mascara to the wand depending on how flashy you want your lashes to appear. The maximum "click" setting is a 3. I suppose 1 is work appropriate, 2 is for a night on the town and 3 is for a bachelorette party.

Let's put it this way; I'm using my old wand after I apply the Almay mascara so that my lashes don't stick together. And that's only with setting number 1.

The actual mascara is great. My lashes look fabulous and it doesn't flake. But I really don't like the brush. The bristles are too short and the mascara is very gunky. That combination doesn't distribute the product as fully as I would like and leaves clumps at the base of my lashes.
