Almay Smart Shade Makeup

gI wear foundation every day. I really like this one. It is easy to blend and provides long-lasting coverage. Does not irritate the skin.

I normally do not wear makeup, because it gives me a rash; I do not have that problem with Almay products. I find it light and easy to put on, blends with your skin tone easily and does not rub off onto clothes easily.

I really like this foundation over others and I don't use foundation that often.

I like this one because it went on creamy and not flaky. I often find foundations get flaky while I am applying it, or almost smudgy. I am referring to other drug store brands.

I don't really get the smart shade thing, but it did look good on me and didn't look like the wrong color.

I would buy this again, however, I am on a BB cream faze and don't think I will be switching any time soon.

I like how the product blends in well with my skin tone. I have some unevenness in my skin tone on my face so this product gives me a pretty even tone.

One little perk with the product is that it has 15 SPF. Not very strong but it's a little bit of help. I'm prone to getting freckles on my face so I wear sunblock on my face. This is a little bonus.

Overall this is a relatively good product. One thing thought that you will need is a powder to set it. This foundation leaves skin looking a little dewy. So for a nice matte finish, finish off with your regular translucent face powder.

I decided to try this foundation because I am really not a big make up person and I alway have a hard time finding the right colours to suit my skin tone. I have to say when I tried this product I was happily surprised at how well it worked. It not only gave my face a nice even tone and hid some imperfections but it really did match the rest of my skin tone. This is definetly a product I will continue to use and would totally recommend.

When I first bought this foundation I have to say I thought I ws in love with it, until after my third time useing it! I don't know what happened but once I applied it my skin colour went this dark orange like colour!! Now I am a very pale person so you can imagine how unimpressed I was when this happened. My husband got a good laugh when I came down to show he what happened. I washed it off that day and immedently threw it in the garbage, never to look back. I would never recommend this item to anyone I liked.

I love this stuff - I am very fair with redness, and know that this is working so perfectly, that i don't have to pay much attention to how I am applying it.

the idea of this foundation is pretty amazing although it left my skin looking a bit orange I did not like the finish at all and the coverage was not all that amazing did not help my oily skin at all
