Growing up, I suffered from hormonal imbalances which resulted in very long and heavy periods. When I tried wearing normal pads, I often leaked within an hour or two. However, overnight pads worked well especially for very heavy days. I do not need to worry about leaking or adjusting the pad. The flexi wings help make the pad more secure; staying in place all day. I often stock up whenever they go on sale as they can sell out quickly. Definitely re-purchase!
