I use this product when I want to accentuate the wave/curl in my hair. I like how light weight it is. I'm rarely left with any crunchy bits which I've experienced with other mousses. I've been using it for years and will continue to do so.
This is a must have for me I use it daily and can't love without it I just love this stuff make my hair look great and I couldn't love without it
I actually bought this mousse because someone on Youtube recommended it and I'm so glad I bought it! It's really great for scrunching hair and I really like that it is also a leave in conditioner. I don't think it makes my hair softer or anything but it does not make my hair go hard which I really like. It also has a pretty good hold and it smells good too. I use this for adding volume to the roots of my hair as well and it works great for that too. All I do is rub it throughout my hair while it is damp and blow dry my hair upside down. I got this at SDM for $6 but it's goes on sale a lot for only $3 - $4. It was definitely worth the $6 though and I will definitely buy it again when I run out of it.
I have naturally wavy hair when I get out of the shower. After I'm done washing my hair I put this on the ends of my hair and it helps to define my waves, it's also a leave in conditioner which is a huge bonus. I really like this product, it's moisturizing and effective. If you really want your waves to last, put this on your hair when your hair is wet, then blow dry it to seal in the style.
I have long, color treated, semi-wavy hair & it has a mind of its own. I have problems with frizz & getting my hair to have nice waves & I bought this product because it acts as a leave in conditioner (my hair gets a bit dry, especially in the winter) as well as a holding product. I shower at night & use it afterward along with a smoothing cream & I just scrunch my hair & let it dry naturally as I sleep & when I wake up I have nice waves & practically no frizz..it's great! I also love that my hair doesn't get "crunchy". The hold could be a little better, by the end of the day my hair is a little bit flat but other than that I really like this product.
Let me tell you about my hair first:
I have dry, color-processed naturally wavy/curly hair that reaches now to just above my shoulders. It's coarse, but thin and lacking in volume.
I towel dry my hair gently until hair is damp. I take a plum sized amount of the mousse (much more and I get the sticky feeling) and run it through the sides of my hair. I scrunch the ends until I have good curl and leave it to dry naturally.
What I love about it:
I've always been rather afraid of mousses since for me they always mean crusty dried out hair, but this one isn't like that. It smells okay, faintly fruity with linger. When I first tried it, I didn't think it would work as it actually looked as if was weighing my hair down, not creating curls. I decided to leave it in anyways, as I could just put my hair in a ponytail if it didn't work out. Once it was dry, I looked in the mirror, and I was AHMAZED. My frizzy, wavy hair had big gorgeous curls! They weren't frizzy in the slightest, and didn't have a trace of crusty mousse-ness. And they stayed like that all day, even after sleeping with them.
What I don't love about it:
It's really easy to overload on it, moderation is key. I also don't like the new packaging, I think the old chubby packaging is way cuter. I also wish the ingredients could be a bit better. But overall, I don't really have anything too bad to say about it.

Overall, I really enjoy Aussie Catch the Wave Mousse and would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a great, non-drying curl enhancing mousse.
I love this product...its another must have on my list of things i love to use...i really don't like using shower conditoners but when i seen that i can have mouse which i like to use instead of gel, and it was mixed with leave in conditioner i was hooked.
When i had longer hair..this product was able to make my hair easier to comb thru, it wasn't taggled after i applied. now this is my experience so might be different for u! i like the scent and it wasn't sticky and my hair felt natural and free flowing when i use this product..i do recommend that with if applying, to comb it or style it before it dries so it doesn't get that crispy feeling!
i'm a lover of this product and continue to buy it regularly whenevr i do find it!
This is a good product for processed curly or wavy hair. It helps bring your dry hair back to normal after coloring with the extra conditioner. It also works well as a scrunch product.
Only two drawbacks- the Aussie-fruity fragrance is a bit strong, and it can leave your hair stiff if you use too much.
Wonderful product for naturally curly hair. Great hold without stickiness. I'm usually not of fan of mousse, but this one has made me a believer! Nice scent also.
