Aveeno Fresh Essentials Anti-Fatigue Eye Roller

I have hereditary dark circles under my eyes, making me look tired all the time. I can usually hide them with concealer, but this product still made me excited because it means I won't have to use as much concealer or apply it so carefully every day. Of course, this problem isn't easily solvable since the dark circles appear naturally. I've used eye creams and rollers before, but they either produce no effect or give me a rash. :(

Upon receiving this in the mail for the Product Review Club, I was even more excited because the packaging is darn cute! It almost looks like a roller tube of fruity lip gloss. I find it very therapeutic to apply. The metal roller felt smooth and cool on my eyes, which did help to wake me up. The smell was very pleasant and made me feel happy, almost like aromatherapy! After applying, there was a bit of tingling under my eyes, but the tingling went away after applying for a few days.

I've used this product twice a day (once in the morning, once before bed) for two weeks. Unfortunately, my puffy eye circles did not go away, nor lessen whatsoever. I was disappointed (though not surprised) and I would not purchase this for $20. However, it is fun to use and provides a nice sensation on your skin, as well as your mood!

I received this product through the Product Review Club and was excited to give it a try. I've long been a big fan of many of Aveeno's product since they are always reasonably priced and use quality, natural ingredients.

What I appreciated about this product was the light, pleasant scent and the cooling effect of the metal ball roller. Using this first thing in the morning was quite refreshing. It was quick and easy and a simple addition to my morning beauty routine.

After using it for two weeks, I can't say that I saw much of a change in my under eye circles. I don't really have any puffiness, so can't comment on this.

Did this product take the place of my undereye concealer? Unfortunately, no. That's why I chose not to recommend it. It's not something I would buy once the one I have is done.

I like the Aveeno brand in general because they use quality natural ingredients, and I have the moisturizer from this Fresh Essentials brand, so I was excited to try this product.
The metal roller feels really nice and cooling on your eyes in the morning, like splashing cold water on your face - excellent! And it smells nice! I also liked that the roller doesn't pull on the delicate skin around your eyes, it's really smooth.

I didn't see a huge difference in the puffiness or circles under my eyes though. My skin felt a bit tighter temporarily because of the cool temp of the roller I think, but it went away. I also didn't love that the product doesn't also multitask and target wrinkles as well as puffiness and circles like the eye cream I was using before I received this. Because it's in a roller, the consistency is a bit watery. I prefer a thicker, richer cream for my eyes, especially at night.

I think if you weren't concerned at all about wrinkles, this would be a good option for the morning because it feels really nice, and then you could opt for a thicker, richer cream at night. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it. Probably won't buy for myself.

I actually experienced some late nights at the time I received this product and I must say it worked well. The coolness of the ball running under my eyes felt very soothing, cool and refreshing. It definitely made me feel awake and look awake too. Immediately (20 mins. or so) I could see the product had worked and my eyes didn't look so tired. I would recommend this product to any student or anyone who has late nights.

Here's what love about the product. I love it's easy to use applicator, the texture, the easy absorption of the product and the coolness of the metal ball on your skin. The metal really wakes you up in the morning. For this reason, I'd probably only use this in the morning.

The thing is I don't like about this product is the fact that I don't believe it did anything for my under eye area except moisturize it. It did not help make me look more awake, or help decrease the darkness of my circles or the puffiness either. For this reason, I would probably not recommend this to others for it's anti-fatigue benefits. I do like the metal ball applicators a lot though and do like the moisturizing properties. For that reason I would probably buy it to use as an eye cream.

I was very excited to receive this product in the mail. I had often considered using similar products but was doubtful that they would be very effective and worth the money. I am a big fan of other Aveeno products and I can definitely say that this product did not disappoint. My eyes were less puffy and tired looking after just a couple of days of using the product. The nice cool feeling upon application was a welcome sensation for the skin and it was extremely easy to use upon rolling out of bed! I would highly recommend this product for those in search of good addition to their morning wake-up routine. The only thing that would prevent me from buying it in the future is the price.

When I got the Aveeno anti-fatigue eye roller in the mail I was very skeptical - many products claim the same results and are a waste of money. I have been trying this product everyday for a week now and I can say that it actually works. The dark circles under my eyes have been fading and the puffiness has been drastically reduced. My eyes went from very tired looking to refreshed.

I love how quick and easy this was to add to my morning routine. Just a quick shake and a roll and your done!This roller provides a cooling sensation when applying which is very refreshing. Although I would not recommend usnig this product if you have dry skin under your eyes as it irritates and burns a bit if you do (This happened my first 2 days as my eyes were extremely dry).

For myself I would never be able to spend $20 on this. I think that it too much for the small bottle that you get. Having said that if this ever went on sale and I had a coupon this would be going home with me.

Overall I liked this product, it worked well on undereye puffiness, I loved the cooling sensation, and smelled amazing! It didn't do much for the bluish colouration under my eyes though. I will continue to use it, and will consider purchasing it afterwards.
