Very sour tasting Shepard's Pie

The first bite tasted very sour but I had a few more bites and it didn't get any better. I don't know if the ingredients were bad or if this is the way it's supposed to taste like. I had to throw mine away. What a waste of money!

dinner, or lunch for two

I found this lunch/ dinner entrée this week at No Frills for $3.97 (907g). It was very delicious and worth every penny. The mashed potato topping tasted like some cheddar cheese was added to it. The beef filling contained peas, carrot shavings, and corn. I prefer carrot shavings, rather than chunks of carrots as I am not a fan of carrots. The gravy is very flavorful with a mix of crushed tomatoes, onions and other spices.

I will definitely be buying this Bassili's Best Shepherd's Pie again in the near future.

Tried once, never again. Talk about a dried out bland meal, that's what it was for me. It had very little next to no sauce. This was a very disappointing terrible supper when I had it. The dogs liked it though.
