The smell of this is like a day at the spa on your head!! It smells like lavender to me. I have super over processed hair and this makes it so easy to brush and manage. it is 0 vegan-vegetarian, never tested on animals and contains no animal products. It is plant based. It does not leave a heavy build up on my hair or make it dull! My hair has never been so happy!
