Good for some bites but not all

We bought this product as an alternative to after bite. We found it did reduce the redness and swelling around some bites but wasn't useful for bites from all stinging insects (mosquitoes, black flies, horseflies). For some of those little biters, the itch relief didn't last long and we found that we were applying it repeatedly over several days. As others have said, we needed to shake it down to get the tip thoroughly moistened and the little ones found that difficult to remember. Overall, a simple calamine lotion gave more consistent results.

I like this way better than afterbite. During summer months the little ones get bit up pretty good and a dab of this and they stop scratching. Washes off when they get wet and stuff, but that is to be expected. No weird smell. Doesn't leave a residue on the skin. Priced decently.

This product is a must have to have in the summer when those darn mosquitos bite! It gets rid of the itchiness fast so you don't have to scratch until you draw blood.

Awesome product! My son reacts very badly to mosquito bites but this cream helps calm his rash considerably. It really works to stop itching and helps to clear up bites quicker than just ignoring them. It's one of our camping essentials.

My son has a slight reaction to any kind of bug bites and this product works wonders. He says the itch disappears with in minutes of putting in on the bite.
