Honestly, I was really happy with this liner when I bought it. Now that I am coming to the end of the tube, I'm a little less excited.
The idea is totally there. Application is easy which makes it a great alternative for people who don't want to fuss with a gel liner + brush.
However, this stuff fades bad. By the end of my day, I've got half faded wings that are smudging at the edges. This is the total opposite of what I would expect, considering if you make a mistake while applying, you better get it off quick or else you're stuck with it.
Clicking the bottom to get more product basically does nothing. I end up having to squeeze the tip to get more out and if you get too much, it will crumble and gunk up your eyelashes. I usually end up clicking too much and come back to it the next with a whole bunch of product coming out of the tip.
Overall, will not be buying again.

Sephora did a great job advertising this push up liner. It just seemed like a must have product so I went in and bought one. First thing I noticed it was hard to apply because I'm just not use to the applicator. When you first use it you have to apply it to your eyes a several times for stuff to come out or you can put some on the tissue. It's a huge wastage because each time you apply you want to get most of the gel out most of the gel without clumps it get a little clumpy. I used it 3 times before I returned. If you are not someone who uses eyeliner everyday it dries out. And when you use it again you have to keep wiping it on a tissue to get the product out. I returned it because it was hard to use and a big wastage.

I have this liner and the concept is great but it does tend to clump while applying it and it leaves gaps. I always have to lay black shadow on it in order to make a smoother line. The good thing is it's water proof but you better make sure the liner is put on and looks good or else it won't come off then you would have to use an oil based remover to start all over.

I know this isn't a 'new product'.... and honestly, I don't really go for the brand spanking new products. I'm sure many people already have this but I love it so I wanted to review it...
It took some getting used to at first; I had to remind myself that it is a gel liner and not liquid. I love gel liners and the fact that this is in pen form... perfect!

After taking the protective piece off of the top and turning the bottom I started getting nervous because the recommended one or two clicks wasn't cutting it; it took around 20 or so. I thought I had a dud but alas, product found it's way to the opening. Now to play...

I have hooded lids, one a bit more than the other so I always had difficulties with liquid liners but the They're Real Push Up Liner definitely makes it easier.

Even though I love the pin-up winged liner, I'm not the best at it but my gosh, I did it.

The pen top is amazing. It's very smooth across the lid and gets right into the lash line. (it makes tight lining so easy!). It works like an angle brush but better because there are no bristles that can get pushed out of place and mess up your work, only a flexible silicone chisel tip.

Other black gel liners I've used had a green, grey or sometimes navy tint to them but this liner is actually black... matte black, which we all know is a staple in everyone's makeup kit.

It stayed on all day even when I was at work for hours with my head in steam.. It was crazy to come home and find my liner still in place. It lasted even through a shower! I broke the cardinal rule of beauty and didn't take my makeup off before bed and about 90% of it was still on the next morning. Taking it off was a bit of a task but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The They're Real Makeup remover (which I have not yet tried), will be a fantastic companion I'm sure.

This liner is like no other. It is gel in form of a tube. Perfect and easy for winged lines! The only downside is you have to be careful when twisting for more product. If you get too much it will clump and fall out, making your eyeliner application messy, especially if you are midst application! But I would def repurchase.

It is the best liner I have ever tried and I've tried them all! Its a lil expensive but the way it goes on smooth as thick or thin as you want and it holds up your lashes it's well worth it!!

Received a sample of this to try, really glad I didn't buy it. I have worn a cat eye for many years now and have tried many different products to achieve this look - this is by far one of my least favourites.

Pros: Very black and matte, if you can manage to apply it, it doesn't budge. It applies very close to the lash line.

Cons: Applicator sucks, hard to get a proper amount of product out, comes out in clumps and doesn't come out evenly. Very hard to apply with any precision, hard to do fine lines. Product doesn't go on very smoothly because it is so hard to get out properly. When I tried to push more product out to apply over spotty areas, it would flake off and rub all around on my eyelid. Had to push and drag on my eyelids which I don't like to do (wrinkles... no thank you).

Like I've said I have been doing a cat eye for years, I can throw a great looking cat eye on in a minute. But this stuff is just way too much work and it is so unnecessary. There are so many other products that last just as long and are way easier to apply. Don't bother with this product.

I was so excited about this product and after I visited the Benefit demo at Sephora and they applied it, I thought I found what I was looking for! Sadly, I've had nothing but issues applying it. Either too much comes out, or not enough.

I love this liner! I thought it was going to be difficult to use since the tip is like rubber but it's actually not. I love the formula and how black it is. I love how it makes making wings a piece of cake. The only thing I really didn't like is how much product comes out when you twist it.
