    Hi,
After reading other reviews about the Bent Salon I was happy to hear that I am not the only one who does not like Bent. My friend and I were approached by a young lady at school who was selling packages for $60 for 20ish services. It seemed like a good deal so we both bought them. Totally regret doing that! The lady, Pepper I think that was her name, told us that they were very friendly people who had cut famous celebs hair for like Angelina and others. She also told us many students from UBC buy these packages because they are a great deal. She told us that we had to pay right that and then and which we did after she followed us to our dorms to make the payment. So when I went there the first time, the service sucked, and the hair dresser was nice but did a bad job cutting my hair and dying it. I had blue streaks in my hair before and told him to dye it black to the original color and when I went home there was still pieces of blue in my hair that where totally noticeable. Also, the brochure I got had a $20 off of getting a hair service done and the receptionist didn’t even include that so I had to pay full price (they just love to rip people off). The second time I went there the hair dresser, who was a bit rude, even told me your haircut is so classical and I responded by saying well that last time I got it cut was from you guys and he said oh well there’s nothing wrong with a classical cut who knows what he would have said if I told him another person under a different company had cut it (his name was pj and he actually did a very good job of cutting my hair). Anyways as I am getting my haircut I got this weird feeling as if I didn’t belong there, usually when I get my hair done you feel wanted. So as I am leaving, the receptionist is accusing me of violating my brochure and threatened me that I should pay full price and that I should thank her for not ripping it up. I was so confused during the whole conversation; I didn’t even know what was happening (also I did not violate the package). Finally when I was about to leave I asked her where was the washroom she told me in the bitchiest way where it was and just turned her BACK. I wish I could go back and time and ask her if she had learned any manners, well I guess she doesn’t have any manners and I totally believe in karma. Well, now I have a package at home that is useless because I am never going back there again. Bent sucks; it lacks business skills and the management is horrible. I hope they go out of business for ripping students off by telling them false claims.

Thanks for reading:) and DON'T BUY BENT PACKAGES!!!

My friend and I were approached on Burrard Street yesterday by ann Asian girl who said she was allowed to offer this deal to only 20 women only. After handing over a tattered looking brochure, went on to describe all the services and products worth $1200 we'd receive for only $100
As she described the services, we were silently trying to figure out the catch. Just then she concluded with "all you have to do is pay me $100 right now and the offer is yours". I said, what if we went to salon, gave them your name and paid them". She looked disappointed, shook her head and quickly collected the brochures and was on to another woman in less than three seconds. Must admit, I'm surprised to find the salon actually exists. Thank you to the two previous reviewers for their comments. Maybe our world is a cynical one, but I don't anyone who would hand over $100 to a complete stranger for an unsolicited "too good to be true" offer.
