This Biotherm lip balm is meant as a treatment for your lips. It's a smooth, rather wet balm without the sticky feeling. It comes in a squeeze tube applicator which makes it easy to glide on your lips, although you do need to be careful not to squeeze out too much product since it is more liquid than most balms. It gives shine, but it's not the type of shine that stands out like a gloss, but rather sinks into the lips giving it a plump, healthy looking finish. It does moisturize but it wears off eventually, therefore reapplication is a must. The spf amount is pretty decent for a lip balm. I adore the sweet scent and taste the balm has - almost like fruity candy. The price is pretty expensive. I believe I paid over $20 for it so it was definitely a splurge item.
