I bought this from my hair stylist / hair salon after I got a hair (curly) perm. Even though this is a product to prevent your hair color from fading, she told me that this is great for keeping perms in as well - since it is just good for all treated hair. (My hair was also color treated though)

Pros:
- tames frizzy hair

Cons:
- expensive
- messy to put in (leaves your hands all gooey and sticky)
- leaves your hair crunchy and unnatural

I'm not sure how this product even extends color treated hair ... I don't think it did anything for me ... Total waste of money imo
