Sadly disappointed ...

After reading reviews on Chick Advisor and Sephora, I decided to give this one a try. I paid a little more than usual and hoped for something that made up for that price! I have to admit, it really didn’t work out. It does not add the amazing volume and intensity as promised in the description and on the actual box. It basically tints my lashes darker and adds no volume or intensity whatsoever. I really look like I’m not wearing mascara at all. It rates really well and others rave about it, so i don't know what else to say. The brush is very fine and it doesn’t clump whatsoever. That’s a plus but it also doesn’t add anything either. I think it is too fine to add volume. I won’t be buying it again and I don’t suggest it sadly. Such high hopes but this one just didn’t measure up.

The Buxom lash mascara is decent however it's not amazing. Great for sensitive eyes as it doesn't flake and I have no burning or irritation from it. It doesn't clump which is important for a clean look. It doesn't have a strong chemical odour like some mascaras on the market. The black pigment is good and dark enough to look like a true black colour. I enjoy plastic/rubber bristle brushes which is what this mascara has as it provides good separation. The mascara tube contains alot of product so it will last a while. Buxom Lash mascara promises volume however its quite average, my lashes are long so I just usually look for volume but it doesn't give enough volume for a $25 mascara.

Got this as a promo from Sephora for Black Friday and was excited to try a new mascara, as it's the one must have cosmetic in my purse at all times. At first it seemed promising but I found the mascara itself dried up incredibly quickly. Also, in agreeing with some of the other reviews, the wand was good in theory but in practice it kind of sucked. Took longer to apply and found it was messier to use than other mascaras. All in all my lashes looked ok so not a total waste but definitely believe you can get more for your money!

It's wet and heavy. Translation bad mess.

No one wants that.
