CARGO blu_ray Lip Gloss

This lip gloss palette is great for giving your lips a natural finish. The colours are sheer so even the darkest plum shade gives you just a touch of colour. They feel smooth on the lips and have a nice minty flavour. You can also combine the colours together for a custom shade. The amount of shine is perfect and makes your lips pouty without layers of gloss. Comes in a nice travel friendly compact - but beware if in a hot country! Will melt.

I received this from winning Ali's Top Ten contest, and I am enjoying it quite a lot! I am a big fan of Cargo cosmetics, especially since they are a Canadian company.
I am not usually a big gloss fan since most tend to be very sticky and my hair has been known to get stuck on a windy day, but this gloss isn't sticky at all. I found it a little strange that it didn't come with its own little lip brush (as most of those compact types do).
I really like the colours, but I am enjoying the darkest colour the best. There is no smell or taste and it doesn't dry out my lips either.
Overall this is a great product!!

I received this in a package of goodies from CARGO for testing purposes. Their blu_ray line is designed for professional make-up artists working on television and film productions. They are customized for the unforgiving medium of high definition filming and photography where every flaw is magnified. In this case, the lip glosses contain a peptide and hyaluronic acid derivative spherers to plump and reduce fine lines.

You initially notice a slight tingling/cooling and slightly numbing sensation, which goes away quickly. The glosses are very soft and creamy so you need a brush to apply them or in a pinch, a q-tip is great. I don't put my fingers in it because it's not sanitary and I'm careful not to mix the colours. The colours are all gorgeous and for once, there isn't a single one I don't like. They don't taste like anything, which is ideal and they last longer than other glosses I've tried. They are great to use on their own or with a lip liner. Thumbs up!
