Too heavy, and not very moisturizing

This product is much richer and heavier than I assumed from the name. Despite that, it doesn't even feel that moisturizing, and the smell is subtle, but weird to the point of being unpleasant.
Some Caudalie products are great. This isn't one of them.

    Terrible!

I definitely do not recommend if you have sensitive skin! It dried out my skin and gave me a rash! I am not crazy about the texture either, my skin felt sticky. Thank god it was a free sample.

    don't waste your money

This brand is not cruelty free so I normally wouldn't buy it. It came in the ipsy box this month. it smells HORRIBLE like play dough and plastic. It's a moisturizer, nothing special at all. it's not overly oily and it doesn't cause acne but the smell ruins everything. It also retails at nearly 50 CAD. I wouldn't buy this and i wouldn't recommend it either. There are tons of options that are cheaper, cruelty free and smell good.

I like Caudalie's products more often than not, but this one disappointed me. "Sorbet" seems to translate to a product that contains more air than anything else: it's quite frothy and runny. It also doesn't seem to do a thing for my skin. I don't expect miracles from these things, but I've tried enough moisturisers now to know what I'm looking for. I'm really glad that I tried out a 10 mL deluxe sample instead of blind-buying the full-size product. I'm going to stick with REN from now on (despite the price).
