Light read

This book is wonderful for children and also a really cute and light read for adults. This was a book I read when I was younger and I always enjoyed it. I love the details and writing style of Roald Dahl. He is a wonderful author and has a great imagination! His books are easy to read and full of great characters. I also love how children can read the book first and then watch the movie.

An imaginative story of a poor young boy named Charlie Bucket who is lucky enough to find a winning golden ticket in his chocolate bar that allows him and a guest to enter Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory with a chance of winning a lifetime supply of chocolate. Along the way Charlie learns life lessons and you see just how selfless a young boy can be. This is definitely a timeless story that teaches morals and one I will most definitely read to my daughter's when they are older? It's hard to believe this book has been around since the sixties and still going strong.
