I really like Steve Martin as an actor and he's usually pretty good in comedies. I don't care for the plot of having a ton of kids, so I don't feel sorry for them in the least when they can't afford to provide all the time. But at least they can keep a roof over their head and food in their bellies. Cheaper by the Dozen is a classic and worth watching.

Cute movie but yeah I agree you do have to feel sorry for the parents and kids in the movie. The kids fight, get into trouble but do make up with one of another. I really find the little kids super cute. Also have to deal with wanting new things but can't afford it too. All the kids have a certain part of their own story as well.

What do you think, have you seen it?

I love this movie, it's such a great movie for the whole family to watch! Has some really funny parts. And the 12 kids are always getting into trouble, I feel bad for the parents!!

Tom (Steve Martin) and Kate Baker (Bonnie Hunt) have compromised their careers to raise 12 children. Tom coaches a high-school football team, while Kate has retired from journalism to raise the family. Things change when Tom is offered a college coaching job in a new city at the same time a publisher buys Kate's parenting memoir. After moving, Kate goes on a book tour, leaving Tom in charge of the children, who -- already unhappy about relocating -- plunge the household into chaos.

This movie is so funny and sweet. Life can get chaotic when you have 12 kids and are trying to balance home life and work. What an adventure this family faces on a daily basis. A great family movie that everyone will enjoy watching.
