Underwhelming

We recently decided to purchase this product as it was on sale at the local grocery store. Well.. it should have been on clearance. It was such a disappointing taste. The peanut butter taste was so fake tasting I thought I was eating the cardboard. Maybe I just really like peanut butter but it just didn’t make sense how fake the taste was

I love peanut butter, and a lot of Cheerios varieties, so I was ready to love these. Unfortunately, the taste was very bland and not very sweet or peanut-buttery. It was just a miss.

I'm such a fan of Reese's Puffs and Nesquik cereal (my guilty pleasures), that I bought this the first time I saw it. Peanut butter is one of my favourite flavours. I also eat honey nut Cheerios pretty regularly. They were on for an excellent price at the time, probably because they were limited release. I actually was super disappointed... I know a lot of people loved it, but I found it overwhelmingly "peanut butter". Which sounds ridiculous, but is true. I just felt like I was eating a bowl of peanut butter in milk and I got to the point where it got sickening. I guess I need the peanut butter toned down a bit, or cut with a contrast flavour, such as chocolate. I wanted so badly to love them :(
