Je dois vous dire que je viens d’acheter ce nouveau fer plat car mon ancient venait tout juste de rendre l’âme après 15 ans.....je suis super contente du nouveau il chauffe très rapidement et il est très efficace je peux facilement changer la température du fer..le prix était très raisonnable ,espérons qu’il sera aussi bon que mon premier!

I would buy again

This product is a little pricey but worth every penny! This straightener gets very hot while gliding through hair without pulling. Chi has a great warranty and tends to last longer than other brands.

Changed my life

I got my first Chi around 17 years old and at 32 it is still my go to hair styling device. I had unruly coarse (damaged from curling irons) hair and the chi made it presentable. I have had 3 or 4 in my 15 years of using the chi iron. I attribute the need to replace due to traveling and the plates and product being knocked around and damaged. (Always put in a Cary on bag now) also, try to avoid wrapping the cord around the product as I feel this is damaging. I find it helpful to add a (tinyyyyy) amount of hair oil to the plates every so often if it feels like it is sticking to my hair.

Loved It!

When I had this product I swore by it! For someone who struggled for years through the humid summer months with uncontrollable frizzy hair, Chi saved the day and I never had to worry about my hair blowing up when I wanted it to look fabulous for occasions. With curly hair that breaks a lot I found Chi to be incredibly gentle and lasting. Unfortunately after a tragic family house fire I lost my Chi flat iron, and have yet to replace it. But when it comes time to reinvest it would be the only product I would purchase.

Great Hair Straightener

I actually miss this straightener! This was my first high end straightener, and I used it for a few years religiously. It's easy to use, and made my hair so soft and smooth. I have curly/wavy hair that tends to get very frizzy. The chi smoothed all those flyaways.

However, be careful when travelling! I tried using it with an adaptor when overseas, and it somehow ended up damaging the chi. It stopped working after that, unfortunately.

Low quality

I’m not sure what has happened to chi in recent years but their straighteners have dramatically lost quality. This broke the ends of my hair and was returned immediately after a couple of weeks of trying to make it work

Good.

This flat iron has a great ceramic quality. I have been using exact same model of ceramic iron for years. The only downside of it is that, the on/off switch is not made of the best quality material and it gets broken eventually. My last iron had no issues and was working great but the switch just broke and it stopped functioning and I had to buy a new one.

Best hair straightener ever

My sister and I have naturally curly hair, we have bought and tried many hair straighteners to try together, the Chi is the only one that really straightened out hair like it was supposed to, others have left us with frizzy, fried hair. Chi made the process go so fast and our hair was silky smooth with no damage.
