Clorox Disinfecting Wipes Decor Canisters

I recieved the Clorox DIsinfecting Wipes from Chick Advisor to try out. I do enjoy the wipes as they smell sooo good! It says on the package "Low-Streak Formula" but I tried the wipes on a glass table and they did leave a streaky film. I really enjoy using them in my car for a quick fix if anything gets spilled or dusty.

This product came at a very good time. I was having a party at my office and thought it would be a good time to give this product a test run.

First of all, I love the packaging. The dispenser is cute. It looks very inviting and can actually be left on a counter now. Interestingly, the Clorox people focused on the nice packaging and actually diminished the words "Clorox" so that the dispenser is now a very attractive container and no longer looks like something that should be put in the janitor's closet.

I did struggle, a little bit, at the beginning to get the first sheet out of the top of the dispenser, but when I figured out the system, the rest came out fine.

The wipes are very powerful and I needed to use only two to wipe up some soft drink that had been dropped on the counter. The wipes were also very useful for the sink - as I used it to disinfect my chrome sink without any problem.

The fresh scent was also a nice welcome and actually lasted after I threw the wipes out - so that there was a nice smell when I walked into the kitchen the next time.

Overall, I have to say that this product meets and even exceeds my expectations.

These wipes are really handy to have around, especially for really gross messes when you don't want to re-use the cloth. I use them in my kitchen to clean up after I've handled raw meat, and in the bathroom when I need to clean up for company in a hurry. They are laced with some pretty serious chemicals, so if your hands aren't as calloused as mine, I would suggest gloves!

I'm a big lover of disinfecting wipes because I really hate cleaning and wipes just seem to make it easier to go over everything in one wipe. The canister is lovely and it definitely doesn't look like a cleaning product sitting on my counter that I forgot to put away (very common occurence!). I first used them in my kitchen and i think because of the texture on the wipes it helps with anything that is stuck on the counters, so I didn't need to reach for my sponge often. I used them in my bathroom and they made it super simple to just do a daily disinfect of that area! I love the fact that I can just take one and go over door handles and other areas just so everything is clean so if one person is sick it lessens the chance of other people in the house getting sick. One thing I didn't like was that after the counter in my bathroom dried there were marks from where the liquid from the wipe had not dried properly and it did leave a film on it as well. So it doesn't leave light colored surfaces very clean-looking. Again like many others have said the look of the canister is probably a gimmick, which puts it at a higher price point. Also a major fault with this canister is the way it dispenses, almost every time I open it up again the cloth has fallen back down and I have to reach down into the canister between the openings and grab another wipe. All in all I would probably buy them because they are a good wipe especially for the kitchen and just make it really easy to just give anything a quick clean when it needs it.

The canister is pretty... but I don't like leaving stuff lying around. I think the pretty canister is a gimmick to justify a higher price.

The wipes themselves are handy, I'll admit. If company is coming you don't have time to clean with conventional methods these are handy to quickly wipe down the bathroom and leave a light, non-cleaning-product smell. I found, however, that they were a little too wet. They didn't pick up dust so much as pushed it around and made it mushy. If they were a little drier they would have been more effective. I left the lid open for a day and the next few dried just a little, which made them easier to use.

Like a number of other reviewers, I don't like the waste factor! What happened to the days of Reduce, Reuse and Recylce?? It seems everything is disposable these days!... disposable cutting boards!!?? Come on people! I tend to clean with less wasteful means and use these wipes as a last resort or when I don't have time. I don't think I will miss them when I run out.

I would never purchase this product because of the wastefulness of it. I am not big on alot of synthetic cleaners to begin with but when I walked by this product at the end display in the grocery store I shook my head and moved on. I like the look of the container and everything but I found that in the end it is all unnecessary and creates more waste than is needed.

While I love the convenience of this product, the wastefulness of it really breaks my heart. That aside, I received them in my swag bag from the Shopaholic Movie Night, and have really enjoyed them. You can use them for simple cleaning and also for disinfecting. They work very well in either case. I use them when I clean the bathrooms to wipe off the counters and other surfaces that don’t get washed with comet and a sponge (too messy!) My favourite thing to do is to keep them in the kitchen to wipe up messes and clean off the counter top and stove after preparing something. And the decorative box is great for this purpose because you can leave the container out and your kitchen still looks tidy and pretty.

Overall, these are a fabulous idea, and you cannot beat the convenience, but in the long run I will not be repurchasing them because of the face that they are disposable and highly wasteful.

I would never have bought these in the store. But now that I've tried them I am absolutely sold! I cleaned my entire house and then I took these wipes and gave everything a little swipe. What a difference it made. I think these are amazing. They don't wreck your hands like other cleaning products do. They have a light fresh smell and my house was sparkling clean by the end. I think these are much more effective than a swiffer. What an outstanding product. I love that they are disposable. One sheet can clean so much. I will buy these every time I run out, a wonderful product

I love the groovy decor canister! I can leave it out on the counter without feeling like I've left some cleaning product out.

Recently, two friends told me about some horrible flu virus that their respective households came down with, and my friends were going around wiping down door handles, toilet seats, remote controls, etc. With the heads up about this flu going around the city, I've been using these handy wipes to do the same around my home, quickly wiping off door handles, etc. whenever the mood strikes. It's quicker and more convenient than hauling out a spray bottle and wipe -- this is all in one step.

This is from a girl who loves everything about bleach.........whatweretheythinking? In this economy even products that have been around since grannys day better make us happy and this one aint doin it! even though it works about as well well as i expected the price about made me yelp. But being clorox and being new i thought it was my obligation, no duty to check out this one and ladies it came up short in my eyes. I got this from my local kroger store but can be found at walmart and kmart also. good luck.
