Not Drop Resistant

This bottle lasted me a couple of years. The issue I have is when I dropped the bottle a few times, the plastic at the top broke and got stuck. Eventually, I put it back to normal and then, it didn’t work. It started leaking constantly, especially when upside down. I still have the bottle. Now, it gives me too much anxiety in case of a spillage. I wish the product can handle more wear and tear and be resistant to light and hard falls. It’s difficult not to let your bottle fall. It’s an exercise bottle. It’s bound too.

I was a big fan of these striker cups for my kids. So much so, that I recently bought another set. After using these cups for less then a month, I found mold growing in a spot on the striker that you are unable to clean. You actually need a special screw driver to remove pieces. As a mom of two small kids, this was very alarming to me and we will no longer be usingvthese cups. It really does disappoint me because we were such fans of the leak proof design.

Not 100% sure if this the correct Contigo product name. It's the cup with the straw. If it wasn't the straw suctioning to the bottom of the cup the seal was letting loose.
