This is a really neat product that you put in your freezer and then into a white-wine bottle to keep it cool when you're drinking far from your fridge and don't have an ice bucket. It's essentially a cork with a synthetic icicle on the end that you insert into the bottle. I'd imagine it's rather effective although we always manage to drink the entire bottle before it can be truly battle-tested. One thing it's great for is a stocking-stuffer for the wine-enthusiasts in your family!
