Cover Girl TRUblend liquid foundation

This foundation really works well to smooth the appearance of my skin tone. I tend to get a lot of acne and my skin can be very dry at times and oily at others. It took very little of the product to cover my entire face and it did not seem to fade as the day went on.

I have never tried drugstore foundation before, so this was my first purchase. While I am not totally satisfied with this foundation, it has given me hope that I can get away from the expensive brands (Mac, Makeup Forever) and get similar results with drug store foundations. This foundation is very smooth, and blends nicely. I like the pump on it, it looks like it pumps out alot but it is always the right amount for my face. I like that this foundation comes in very light colours, as I had trouble finding expensive foundations in my colour. This foundation feels very light, I can't feel that it is on my face and it is very breathable.

What I don't like about this foundation is that it does not have SPF. I thought I had grabbed the 3 in 1 foundation that had SPF but for some reason I had grabbed this one instead. It is not very sunny out though so I will make sure I grab that next time. The main problem I have is that it does not provide good enough coverage. My cheeks are a little more red than the rest of my face, so I like a foundation that will cover that. This foundation, with three layers, still does not cover it up as much as I would like. It also starts to get shiny after that many layers and that is not a good look. My skin is not bad at all, but I want a foundation that makes it flawless and this is not it. This foundation would be good for a girl with good skin, who wants a more natural and dewy sort of look. I don't regret this buy, as the price was good and it feels nice on my skin, but I don't think I will personally buy it again.

I am a CoverGirl through and through. It was the first brand I used when starting makeup, and whenever I have the money to splurge, I make sure it's on CG. I have a pale complexion, so the fact that this foundation comes in a TRUblend form, and can match my complexion flawlessly is awesome. CG is also one of the lowest priced high quality makeup lines that I have come across.

This foundation is the only brand I use, it goes on evenly and lasts throughout my workday.

I love this product. I have always had issues with foundation clumping and balling on my face. I have never had this problem with this product. It blends well with my skin colour and I don't have to worry about those horrible lines around the edges of my face. I do find that it comes off onto my hands if I forget and touch my face.

This is a pretty good foundation. Easy to apply, blends nicely and had good coverage. Only negative is that it doesn't stay on my face all day (probably because my skin is oily). If you have normal skin you should be fine.

I find that this foundation has the best coverage of any that I have tried without all the weight. I am not a huge fan of the bottle as twice I have had pumps that don't work great so it makes it hard to get it out. Otherwise do love this product
