I like these lip balms because they feel really smooth, but I don't love the colour and the fact that it dries out my lips a little. I got a really red one, and it was an awkward colour. It wasn't very pigmented like most reds are, but it also wasn't completely sheer making it look really awkward.

I tried "2Cute". I thought it was sheer but it actually had more colour than I anticipated. I like it since it is a darker colour but also sheer at the same time. I also felt the size was a bit odd. It does have a cherry scent, which is okay. I don't think I will be buying another one since it was quite pricey and even on sale it was over $6.00 at Shoppers Drug Mart.

This product is very moisturizing. I have it in " #textme" (cherry red tint). It smells like artificial cherry, but it doesn't bother me. It doesn't have an overly fake plastic cherry scent. I'm quite impressed with the pigmentation. You can build this up to a sheer red lipstick or even more opaque glossy red! Love it ! Depends where you buy this from, prices may vary. I got mine for 3.99$ I believe on sale @ London drugs.

I picked up the smooch one and when I tried it on, I noticed there were sparkles in there. ALOT of sparkles, it felt almost gritty. I was pretty disappointed because when I looked closer Into the packaging the sparkles were not noticeable and nor did it say anything about sparkles. It seems to me that they all vary in texture and pigmintation. It's probably good to see each type clearly before picking one because they all vary. I don't find it to be that moisturizing but it does okay, the pigmentation is pretty good too. It might appeal to people who want color with a bit of moisture.

I like this product, it gives me a nice smooth feeling with just a hint of colour so it's not over the top colour for me for work. I don't particularly like the smell though, kinda smells like a crayon to me.

I recently purchased the (somewhat new) Covergirl Smoochies Lip Balm.
The main reason I got this was because it was on sale at Shopper's for $3.99 and I had a $2 off coupon for any CG product.
Recently seeing reviews and youtube videos (love you Beth!) I decided to pick it up in the shade 'Text Me'.
I love darker, bolder colours and this colour is absolutely perfect for the fall.
It is not as moisturizing as it says though, and the colour only lasts about an hour.

Find a coupon, and try it. otherwise, I'll stick with my EOS for those chappy lips.

I bought this lip balm in the colour #textme which is a pretty raspberry red. I was looking for a new lightly pigmented, coloured balm, similar to the Maybelline Baby Lips. I was looking for something a little more moisturizing though. I thought this balm seemed like a fun product and I really liked the colour options (more variety than Maybelline). The product is very similar to the Maybelline. The packaging is cute, somewhat young though. At around $6, it is a pricey option for a coloured balm and like the Maybelline, the hydration leaves some to be desired. I do like having this on the go though (great for those who like lighter products in summer) for when I like some colour but don't want something very matte. I like the product and I like the amount of pigmentation, its a very subtle pretty tint but for $6, I'm not sure that it's quite worth it. Also, a silly complaint but I feel like the size is a bit awkward. It's good, but not a great product.
