After seeing these bags on TV so many times, when I spotted them in Wal Mart one day I couldn’t resist buying them. They will work, but not on every thing like they say they do. I find they work better on veggies then they do on fruit and you have to keep drying the bags while you’re using them, or you can forget about it. From what I read and have heard about the Green bags they aren’t suppose to get wet inside like they do, so I don’t know why mine are. I’ve done every thing is tells you to do on the box and I’ve still found some food had gone bad on me. I was hoping they would help me save my garden veggies for a lot longer because once the garden starts producing you just can eat it fast enough. I’ve found that they really only worked well for the carrots, onions, head lettuce and the green peppers, but you still have to eat everything with in two weeks. So I don’t think I’ll be buying them again.

I have been so curious to try these as I have a abundance of produce from my garden just now.I bought them at Walmart a few weeks ago.I noticed lots of condensation building up in the bags.It says you can reuse it up to 10x!!Forget it after one use the produce all smelled moldy!I did as the directions said to use different bags for each type of produce it was all like this a strong smell of mold.I followed the directions as well to wipe out the moisture but this is a little much, not much convenience there. Its best just to keep your produce in a dry cool place and they will do better then these bags. Also theres just something odd to me about storing produce a long time. Its much better to eat while its fresh. But the curiosity got the better of me and I had to try it.

I was always on the verge of ordering each time the infomercial aired, and one day I finally couldn't resist any longer. Not that I think holding on to strawberries or celery for 2 months is such a great idea, but it can be inconvenient to buy in very small quantities - was my rationale.

The bags appeared to work really well. I tried out broccoli, zucchini, bananas, grapes and strawberries in separate bags, some on the counter and others in the fridge. They all maintained a beautifully ripe color and the only issue I had was that I had to wipe out the inside of the bags frequently to remove the sweat moisture (I had not prerinsed anything, according to the instructions).

However, when I got around to eating them, they were all in various stages of rot - from the inside and on bottoms where they pressed against the counter or other items in the bag. I suppose the ethylene absorbing chemicals couldn't get there and they were, in a word, vile. SUCH a disappointment.

Not one to let one bad experience derail my money sparing determination, I tried them again - this time consuming the produce much more quickly (i.e. stuffing myself with it all, thereby negating the long-term storage aspect, but what the heck I was trying to give them a fair shake), but found that the bags that I reused (and supposedly they can be reused up to 10 times) were just a hair better than utterly useless.

NOT worth it. Not even close. If you have to eat it all that quickly, you should not be buying in bulk. In fact, my Tupperware FridgeKeeper for fruits veggies work just as well or better, and it really is reusable.

I must, grudgingly, admit that they work considerably better than leaving the fruits/veggies in the store packaging or in a sealed Ziploc bag. So I haven't chucked them out, but will not be buying replacements any time soon.
