reviews i'm not sure if im sold on this item. It does do what it's supposed to, however if you shower and scrub your body you'll start noticing the "tan" to come off, and then you'll notice the blotches. reviews Although I was not a huge fan of the price for this lotion, I figured that I would give it a try anyway, as I have always had a good experience with Dove. Personally, I did not notice much change in my skin tone within the first week. It wasn't until late in the second week that I started noticing the "glow" factor. I've used similar products before that have had an extra sparkle or shimmer to them, which made you notice the difference that much faster. Dove plays on your own natural skin tone, and the effects are more subtle and gives off a more realistic "glow". I don't mind paying the little bit extra for this particular product because it works well, both as a lotion, and as a tone enhancer.
