Finally an amazing oil that works for my hair :)

I was AMAZED with the Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Nourishing Hair Treatment with African Macadamia Oil. It smells wonderful, has a great oily texture and does NOT leave your hair looking oil or dirty. I found a significant difference in the health of my hair within the first week using this oil. I use it at night after a shower and concentrate on the ends of my hair which need the most help. My hair looked seriously beautiful after using this oil and it truly helped with styling. This is like an at home salon treatment for your hair.

Smell is way too strong... though the product works well

In this age of scent sensitivities, and fragrance-free workplaces, I find it disappointing that so many products have potent smells. This one is far too fragrant for me to use in our scent-sensitive home and office, as is the rest of the Dove hair care line. :(

I got a free sample from Dove, so thankfully I didn't have to pay for it, only to turn around and donate it. It works beautifully - just one or two drops does a great job of taming my curly-hair frizzies, and doesn't leave a greasy look - just a beautiful shine, and well-defined curl when combined with my regular hair gel.

It took a full day for most of the smell to wear off, so it's not something I can buy and continue to use. I wish Dove made a hair care line without fragrance, like they do for body care products. I'd be one of the first to volunteer as a tester.

This is a great hair oil ! I have tried a lot of oils for hair care and this is definetly one of my favorites. I personally like to use it right after I dried my hair, or I used my flat iron, because it kind of fixes my damaged hair from the heat. It keeps your hair very soft (but be careful don't out too much otherwise your hair will look greasy, just a little bit !)

By far the best hair oil I've used this far. I have a lot of hair with classic dry/fried ends and oily roots. I apply 2 pumps on damp hair (ends only), brush it through, and usually air dry but you can style as usual. I go about a week between washes and my formula is on days 3 and 5 baby podwer or dry shampoo on roots and 1-2 pumps of Dove oil through the ends. This oil does not leave a residue or buildup and smells amazing. It's a must-have!

I received a sample of this stuff and purchased it as soon as the sample ran out. This oil feels so good on my hair - not greasy, just soft. It is the best oil product that I have found for my long, dry hair - and at a steal of a deal price! Regular $3.99 at Walmart and worth every penny. My hair is super soft, frizz free and manageable. I use this after every wash.

I enjoy anything Dove, and was pleased to receive this in a wedding shower attendee gift bag. It has a higher end look to it coming in a glass pump. The macadamia oil makes it feel luxurious. The scent is nice, which lingers on my hair, which I like. My hair is left shiny, not oily.

I was totally surprised at how much I liked this product.

It was on sale at my local grocery store and I thought I would just try it. I have fine hair and if it made it greasy, I could just use it as a body oil. It was not like I paid alot of money for the oil.

Well, I love it ! It did not weight my hair down at all. It actually gave it a supple soft feeling, and it looks healthier when I use this oil.

I will buy this again even if it is not on sale.

I have curly/wavy hair that I typically flat iron. This product works well after flat ironing to tame hair.

You don't need to use much - I have short hair so one small pump is usually enough - rub it in your hands and gently through your hair.

Non-greasy and one bottle will last you a long time.

This is amazing stuff. I'm not sure what the price runs for because I was given a bottle to try from a friend so I estimated average, but after using it and getting the results I have been getting, I would purchase it myself in the future for sure!
My daughter has super super fine hair - long story short she had a HUGE mat in her hair that I had been trying to get out for a couple days, between soaking it in different types of oils, conditioners anything I could think of it just wasn't budging....I was mortified thought i was going to have to cut this tangle out of the back of her head(near her neck), a friend tried this on her hair, soaked it for a bit, washed it out, put a tad more on while still wet and voila the mat was gone no problem what so ever. Since she has given me the bottle I have also used it on my own hair - long & super thick, and just a small amount of this stuff makes my hair so soft and shiny (healthy shine not greasy) for days, love it! Smells really good too

after seeing this listed at one of the tops on the site this year i decided to try it out, and i really enjoyed it, it didn't make my hair greasy after blow drying it, like some others have, definitely would be a good option for an oil
