Overall I love the Dove brand and I love what they stand for! This gel does perform well compared to other drug store brands. I like it but not enough to pay full price. So my recommendation is to buy it when on a good sale!

As I aged my hair became fine and I hated how flat it fell as the day went on. I really love the light, refreshing fragrance of Dove products! The only problem I find with Dove products is that when I wash, condition and use product in hair by the evening, my hair looks and feels greasy. I'm not sure if it's because my hair is fine and scalp is oily but that doesn't happen with other brands for me. My husband uses Dove and it works great for him, however.

dove style and care volumizing gel is great for those days when you feel blah and need a little boost to your hair. dove products have been around for a very long time and there are no mistakes to that.

This is a good product. I use this while putting foam rollers or hot rollers in my hair. It helps,set everything nicely without any damage or crunch to the hair.

I think this is a perfect product for those who are looking for a quality gel which is not 'Ultra', "Super", "Extreme" etc. It's a soft hold gel, with a pleasant and not overpowering smell. It's non sticky.
