Best melting cheeze slices

This brand has the best melting cheeze slices I've found so far on the market. Whether it's for those who are either lactose intolerant, or following a vegan diet for the environment. For grilled cheeze sandwiches, I definitely recommend these slices for not only melting texture, but also their delicious flavour. A must have in my fridge at all times!

Dairy free delicious cheese

I found out I had a dairy allergy in my forties. It was a terrible transition for me as I knew what dairy products tasted like and there was a lot of horrible tasting dairy free products I tried. Then my naturopath told me about Earth Island And I have never looked back. The slices are delicious and they melt so I can use them for grilled cheese which are my favourite. Thank you to Earth Island I no longer feel deprived

This is delicious! It melts. You can use it for anything that uses cheese. It's a great non dairy/ lactose free product. I will be buying this again.

FINALLY

Finally a vegan cheese that tastes like cheese!! It also actually melts when you make grilled cheese. The only issue I have is the price but I can live with it if it allows me to enjoy some dairy products again.

I have tried so many brands of dairy free cheeses and just keep coming back to this one. My son who is 6 and recently become dairy free will also only eat this brand.

I was diagnosed as dairy intolerant a little over two years ago, and began the hunt for dairy-free substitutes. This is by far the best cheddar cheese I've come across! Some products tend to have a weird taste, but this tastes just like the real deal.


There are ten square slices per package. They're pretty thick, and they're ideal for sandwiches of all varieties, but they're just as good on their own as a quick snack. They do melt well, but they melt differently from real cheese. They tend to melt in a kind of runny way, rather than a stretchy way, if that makes any sense at all! Also, because these are dairy-free and primarily oil-based, there is no protein source.


They have a fairly long shelf life, provided you leave them unopened. Once opened, I find they're best consumed within about 10 days or thereabouts.


The price is a little high at regular price, so stock up when they're on sale!
