When I first saw this lamp, the “flower” was tucked away in the pencil holder portion of the base.

It’s a great size for a kids or fun adults desk or as a bedside table, providing ample amount of light whether it is to see detail, prevent eye strain, or to secretly read in bed at night!

The stem of the flower bends in every direction, allowing for a custom angle and setting.

There are also 3 different levels of brightness, depending on the task at hand. I prefer the medium setting for night time as my eyes are sensitive to light, but the low and high also work quite well. It’s easy to control by just lightly tapping the base to obtain the preferred lighting level.

I absolutely love that this lamp is LED, as it means less power consumption overall and it will last MUCH longer than normal lights.

I also am a big fan of USB rechargeable anything. It does come with a wall charger and cord, however, it is also compatible with my other chargers, including my USB ports in both my laptop and desk top computers.

I am not 100% sure what material the base and flower are made of – possibly some sort of silicone or quality plastic – it reminds me of the material Ikea uses for some of their plastic children’s lamps. Whatever it is, it is soft and quite nice.

On the plant base, there is a holder for pends, scissors, or whatever else tickles your fancy – it is very convenient and an efficient use of space for small areas.

I would definitely get another one so we have a matching set, and it would make a delightful gift for any plant lover or child.
