I received my Elizabeth Grant Island Coconut Shower Gel in my last months Glossybox, but it sells for $20 US on their web site. One thing I found funny was that it doesn’t tell you on the bottle how much is in it. If I had to guess I’d say it was about a 250 ml size bottle. A bit from the web site; “Escape to the Islands with this sensual blend of coconut against your skin. This serene shower gel leaves your skin cleansed and as smooth as coconut milk, letting you escape to the visions of sand and surf as you shower.“ I found the scent to be nice, not to strong, but light and kind of airy. This shower gel bubbled up very well and seemed like it rinsed away nicely. It didn’t seem to leave a film on my skin at first, but once I was dried off my skin began to feel tight and it started to itch. I knew this was from the shower gel because I hadn’t used anything else that was new and I hadn’t applied any cream after I showered. This itching went on for about an hour! I was about to jump back in the shower to try and wash it away, but it finally stopped on its own. I wasn’t satisfied with this so called higher end shower gel at all and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone especially at this price.
