Very affordable!

This powder does a nice job of keeping my foundation matte. I find it is not very long lasting though and wears off in oily zones after a few hours of wear, especially around the nose. I have not tried it to set my under eye, just more as an all over finishing powder.

This product may work for others, but it didn't work for me. I was hoping that it would help set my face. All my life I've had normal/combo skin but this summer I've developed oily skin, and my foundation keeps sliding off my face throughout the day. I hoped that this would help, but it hasn't. As for the "white-cast" I've heard about, I haven't had any problems with that. It goes on my skin transparent. However, this product hasn't helped my makeup stay on throughout the day so I'm undecided on if I will buy it in the future.

Well, like most Essence products it is very well priced. Unlike other Essence products, I didn't really care for this product. It left too much of a white cast on my face and left my skin too texturized. I didn't try it with a setting spray afterwards, but the white cast was enough of a turn off for me. I am a huge fan of several Essence products, but not every one is a hit with me, and this is one of them. But I usually find that with face makeup I prefer high end (I am 34 so i do all i can to make my skin appear smooth and line free :)), while lips, mascara, eyeliner and blush I can get away with going with drug store or bargain brands. Pass on this one. I wont say it is terrible or doesn't work, because I am sure if i had no other option I could make it work somehow but i don't really want to put that much effort into it!

I got this new translucent matte powder to set every thing by Essence. Which I need very much because I have really oily skin unfortunately. I liked it well enough but I had to use quite a bit over and over to get everything set and matte shine free. All and all I would say it’s a good, average product but not amazing or anything from other products I've used.
