Not only is this polish extremely cheap, it works so well! I have yet to have polish from essence dry up on me. I especially love the vibrant green colour they have in their line. Their polish is very pigmented and amazingly bright for such a cheap price. I love the flat brush because that always helps make my polish look super smooth, though I know some people can't stand it.

Talk about a hidden gem! I picked up a few bottles to try not expecting much and I was very surprised. I thought that it would be a 3 coat if your lucky kind of polish and when the first coat went on almost completely opaque I was taken back. With a $2 price tag and such a wide range of colours you can't go wrong.

When I picked up a couple bottles of Essence's nail polish, I wasn't expecting much from them. I was in dire need (#firstworldproblems) of a watermelon red, and I was out of my favourite top coat. At $1.99 each, but with no colour name, they fit the bill for the change left at the bottom of my purse.
However, I was pleasantly surprised with how smoothly it painted on. The thick, soft, nylon bristled brush nearly encompassed the whole nail for 2 easy strokes without any leakage towards the sides.
As someone with constantly shaking hands, this is especially nice to have.
Completely mess free, it only took two coats of colour, and one top coat and my nails were perfect! It has a relatively quick drying time as well.
I usually opt for budget friendly Sally Hensen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear when I'm in dire straights financially, but Essence easily takes the cake this time. My only complaint would be it doesn't appear to mix well when you shake the bottle, however, this is appearances only. Painting it on it seems very consistent in colour and texture... perhaps when I get to the bottom of the bottle or when it ages I'll have a problem but I'm not there yet.
So if you're in a pinch for overall colour, this is the polish to go for! I've already bought 2 more bottles so no more "hard times" for a while.

I have several of these nail polishes and I love, love, LOVE them all! Don't be put off by the thinking the cheaper price will mean lower quality, because that couldn't be further from the truth. These polishes dry so fast - much faster than most of the 'fast drying' polishes out there. The colors are perhaps not as widely varied as other brands, but I still always find a color I like and can wear day to day, or for an evening out. Great polish, never buying any other brand again!

The nail polish lasted maybe 5 uses, then it started to get clumpy and at that point it was useless, it was worth the price but not if you keep your nail polishes for 6 months onwards. It more of a nail polish that you only need for a couple of uses, maybe only for seasonal usage/impt events.

As inexpensive nail polish goes you can't really beat Essence. At $2 a bottle you can purchase trendy colours and even if you use them only for a season you won't feel so bad about limited use. They come in smaller bottles too. I rarely use an entire bottle mostly because I only do my toes in the summer, but I love getting a chance to have this year's trendy options.

I absolutely LOVE this stuff, when it goes on, it drys pretty fast and very smooth. Very glossy shine as well.
And removal is quick. I always find some nail polish removal worse than others but this was super easy!

I really love this nail polish they have a variety of amazing colours, I currently own a lot of these and honestly for the price, I was amazed. $1.99 for a nail polish really! I've read that some people find these nail polishes chip and I agree unless you put a top coat on its amazing, it stays for more than a week. I would love to recommend this product to anyone!
