I like the consistency of this cream. My son has pretty bad eczema and a thicker cream helps him much more then lighter creams. I am not sure how much better this one is to others we have used in terms of helping his eczema, but I do think its a great cream overall

great lotion

I recently purchased for use on the job as I am always washing hands and using hand sanitizer. This lotion provides relief from dry cracked red skin and soothes irritated skin. The consistency is thick and sinks into skin ever so nicely.

Just not for me

I bought this to help some flares up on my face. It would help for a moment, to relieve some of the discomfort, but only for a little while. I had to keep reapplying constantly because it would feel dry again and that was taking too much of my time. It was better for just a normal cream for my hands. The tube is a good size but it was a bit pricey for me.

Bye bye Eczema

I received a few samples from my doctor for my 7 month old to treat the eczema rash she developed. We used the lotion every morning and night and noticed a huge difference within a few days. The lotion is slightly greasy feeling and has a very slight scent. I would highly recommend this and will be going out to purchase a bottle now that we know it is worth the cost.

Relief.

I don't have eczema per se, however, this was the only cream that soothed the 'dry skin patches' that I have. The itching was driving me crazy and my pharmacist recommended this product. It's been helpful for me and for my mom, who does have eczema and was happy I got it for her.

Small tube but good product

This was a good product. The bottle is small but it did provide relief for my eczema. It relieved it but did not clear it up. I have an awful time trying to find the perfect product but this is close. There is another eczema lotion by Eucerin that is pretty much the same and comes in a much larger tube. I would go with that one since I did not find a difference between the 2.

I have severe eczema and decided to give Eucerin a try (I'm tired of constantly using corticosteroid creams). It's very thick, kind of greasy and takes a short while to soak into the skin. I've only been using it a short time and while my skin does feel smoother, it doesn't really help with the itching. Maybe it's good for moderate eczema but not so great for really bad cases. As a standard moisturizer I think it's fine.

I've been struggling with eczema (severely, for the first time) for about 6 months now. I received this as a free sample at an eczema info session. I've been using it since, and it's been doing an ok job. I still need to apply Vaseline on top or else my skin dries out too much. But this, combined with better eating habits (ie Paleo diet) has vastly improved my internal inflammation and external skin.
