I love this because it does not ex-foliate by ripping at ones skin cells like most ex-foliates do. Shells and salts are not actually good for rubbing against ones skin as it does get rid of dead skin, but also new skin attempting to regrow. This clears with antioxidants by bringing impurities out and clears the dad skin off in the process. I really like the results and I never had a red face after washing like I did with other shell and salt based ex-foliates.
