The Fantime Smart Watch was making a good impression on me right from the start, because it avoided the sin that so many smart watches commit: it doesn't look like a smart watch. Instead the Fantime Smart Watch has the leather strap and smooth metal design of any classic watch, so you feel good just wearing it on your wrist.

It doesn't look like a gadget, it looks like a stylish timepiece. The one downside to its design is that it has "Smart Watch" written in big letters across the front, which does detract a little from the otherwise subtle, classic aesthetic.

Setting up this smart watch was very easy. It comes pre-installed with tons of tools and apps that you can use, as well as functionality that will improve your smartphone experience. Just sync it to your phone via bluetooth, and you can start using it for all kinds of things.

You can make or answer calls, control your music, and even use the watch as a shutter remote for your phone's camera. Many of its features can also be used without even touching it, as some features like accepting calls can be activated with a shake of your wrist.

The microphone on this watch is good enough that I was happy to use it for all my calls, keeping my phone in my pocket or bag. It's also very helpful when you have your hands full (cooking, driving, etc.) and can't afford to touch your phone. For anyone interested in the health benefits of this watch, it features all sorts of tools and trackers like a pedometer and a sleep quality monitor. It even has a sedentary reminder that can notify you to stretch your legs when you've been sitting down all day!

For the price this watch sells at, you really do get great functionality out of it. The only major annoyances I had with it were the slim pickings in customisable options for the display and the clock itself, and the fact that the charger only works with the watch face-down and is very easy to accidentally dislodge.
