I loved this book and got the hole set. It's a good read if can get into it. I've read and reread This book. Love it. The movie now,I hated it. Felt like they were rushin throw it

NOPE!! The sex scenes were well written. The rest of the book was not!

Terrible writing, horrible representation of BDSM, and an example of an unhealthy relationships spun to make it seem as if it's romance. While it was a "easy" read due to it's language, it was done so in a poor fashion. The character lacked any depth and the overall theme is isn't of a healthy BDSM relationship. You can tell the author only knows a vague amount of it and makes many assumptions.

The one thing about this book is that because of it's easy read and unsophisticated design it has brought much more interest to learning about this alternative lifestyle, which I think is a good thing for society. It's just the factual mistakes about it that make me not like it and fear it can put a bad image of what it is really about.

That's one thing that drives me nuts is al people complaining about the books so it not the perfect fair tale with prince and love and flowers but it about two people who love each and are willing to make changes to make the other happy and in the end isn't that what's love is all about fair tales are nice but not realist

Read the series because of all the hype surrounding it. The first book was good but by the end of the series I was happy for it to end. Too long and drawn out, the story should've ended with the first book or the second tops. Will probably see the movie just because I've read the books.

Couldn't put the books down. Read all 3. I am not into those practices but it was sure interesting reading about them.

So many people were talking about it, got the first book from the library, soon as I finished it, I went and bought the series.

I definitely had to read books ..so many friends and family members ..talking about how they couldn't put book down .so i decided to buy them ..started reading the first one it was good but time i got to last one .i was so into those books i couldn't put it down .Want see how it was going to end .didn't think she really was going be able change Mr .Grey . It was sad at times and it was happy at times .i know some people didn't like those books .but like i always say .i have to judge for myself and not go by hear say . we all can advice our opinions .i think we still have FREEDOM OF SPEECH !!! only my opinion and i did enjoy three of those books

This was a good series To lose yourself in. They have that addiction factor to them where you just cannot let go.
By the third book however things became very repetitive and predictable.
They also needed to invest in a better editor.
Overall though it's a good series to get your nose stuck in if you don't have high expectations. A little escape for us ladies.

Loved the series! Couldn't put them down, one after another.
