This little tool is pretty good. The razor does a good job of removing hair without knicks or burns. It is easy to use and hold as it is slim and wide so you can have a better grip on it than a razor. You do not need to use shave cream or lotions to get that close shave. The light helps you see what you are shaving, it has nothing to do with removing the hair. The hair does grow back but if used on a daily or bi-daily basis you can keep your skin clean. You use the razor to remove the longer hair and the micro to keep it smooth on a daily basis. Hold the razor at a 45 degree angle and the micro razor at a 90 degree angle for best results. It is safe, you turn it on and if not in use after a few seconds it will turn off but as soon as you touch it to your skin it turns back on. I have used this on my arm hair and it keeps it nice and clean. I do sometimes wonder if the micro razor is working well as it doesn't seem to do as good of a job as the razor. I have also used this on the peach fuzz on my sons back and it worked really well, no scraping or cutting as clippers can sometimes do. This is not for permanent hair removal but works well for maintaining that clean, hairless look.
